FYI No more 'zhu zha tang' or yummy 'bak kut teh'...

The following is from Dr. Lee Say Fatt, I believe you should read this.

Pork Awareness (read this carefully)!

IT'S WORTH SPENDING 3 MINUTES READING THIS

Try this and see whether the pork you bought has worms. There goes with your "Bak Kut Teh" for those who love it. Most men love to eat this so watch out before it's too late. If you pour Coke (yes, the soda) on a slab of pork, wait a little while, you will SEE WORMS crawl out of it.

A message from the Health Corporation of Singapore about the bad effects of pork consumption. Pig's bodies contains MANY TOXINS, WORMS and LATENT DISEASES.

Although some of these infestation are harboured in other animals, modern veterinarians say that pigs are far MORE PREDISPOSED to these illnesses than other animals. This could be because PIGS like to SCAVENGE and will eat ANY kind of food, INCLUDING dead insects, worms, rotting carcasses, excreta including their own, garbage, and other pigs.

INFLUENZA (flu) is one of the MOST famous illnesses which pigs share with humans. This illness is haboured in the LUNGS of pigs during the summer months and tends to affect pigs and human in the cooler months. Sausage contains bits of pigs' lungs, so those who EAT pork sausage tend to SUFFER MORE during EPIDEMICS of INFLUENZA.

Pig meat contains EXCESSIVE quantities of HISTAMINE and IMIDAZOLE compounds, which can lead to ITCHING and INFLAMMATION; GROWTH HORMONE which PROMOTES INFLAMMATION and growth; sulphur containing mesenchymal mucus which leads to SWELLING and deposits of MUCUS in tendons and cartilage, resulting in ATHRITIS, RHEUMATISM, etc. Sulphur helps cause FIRM human tendons and ligaments to be replaced by the pig's soft mesenchymal tissues, and degeneration of human cartiliage. Eating pork can also lead to GALLSTONES and OBESITY, probably due to its HIGH CHOLESTEROL and SATURATED FAT content.

The pig is the MAIN CARRIER of the TAENIE SOLIUM WORM, which is found in it flesh.

These tapeworms are found in human intestines with greater frequency in nations where pigs are eaten. This type of tapeworm can pass through the intestines and affect many other organs, and is incurable once it reaches beyond a certain stage. One in six people in the US and Canada has RICHINOSIS from eating trichina worms, which are found in pork. Many people have NO SYMPTOMS after having pork. When they do have any sickness in long term, they resemble symptoms of many other illnesses. These worms are NOT noticed during meat inspections.

The copied and pasted message ends here..

Yup, that's why WE(US[not U.S] and only US) cannot eat B@B!..mesti ader sebab kan..and there are many more things yg haram/kiter tak leh buat..dont sigh, never betray, and ignore not..coz there are reasons why..find out..

   For SMART Ass Only
You think you are smart enough? D4mn, I thought so too (but I know I'm S.M.A.R.T smart..;p)..if you think so, take this freakin surely-ruin-your-mood-if-your-current-mood-are-bad quiz..but hey, if you have done this quiz before, and you got all questions answered correct, that isnt fair..hehe..

==================================================
Ad by ad3ck: What's new on Hot-in-Here Movie Trailers: The Fountain
==================================================

Ok, let's proceed..these questions I created myself got from Haida are really freakin tricky..be carefull..hehe..

Thanx to Haida for those questions..I answered all wrong except for the bonus question (that's because Ive read before!! d4mn!)

the quiz starts here:
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Below are four (4) questions and a bonus question. You have to answer them instantly. You can't take your time, answer all of them immediately. OK?

Let's find out just how clever you really are.

Ready? GO!!! (scroll down)

First Question:
You are participating in a race. You overtake the second person. What position are you in?

Answer: If you answered that you are first, then you are absolutely wrong!
If you overtake the second person and you take his place, you are second!

Try not to screw up in the next question.
To answer the second question, don't take as much time as you took for the first question.

Second Question:
If you overtake the last person, then you are...?

Answer: If you answered that you are second to last, then you
are wrong again. Tell me, how can you overtake the LAST Person?

You're not very good at this! Are you?

Third Question:
Very tricky math! Note: This must be done in your head only. Do NOT use paper and pencil or a calculator. Try it.

Take 1000 and add 40 to it. Now add another 1000. Now add 30. Add another 1000. Now add 20. Now add another 1000 Now add 10. What is the total?

Did you get 5000?

The correct answer is actually 4100.

Don't believe it? Check with your calculator! Today is definitely not your day. Maybe you will get the last question right?

Fourth Question:
Mary's father has five daughters: 1. Nana, 2. Nene, 3. Nini, 4. Nono.
What is the name of the fifth daughter?

Answer: Nunu?

NO! Of course not.
Her name is Mary. Read the question again.

Okay, now the bonus round:

There is a mute person who wants to buy a toothbrush. By imitating the action of brushing one's teeth he successfully expresses himself to the shopkeeper and the purchase is done.

Now if there is a blind man who wishes to buy a pair of sunglasses, how should he express himself?

He just has to open his mouth and ask, so simple. Waddaheck do you think?
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
End of quiz.

How was it?
hehe..freakin tricky wasnt it? Ow come on, dont tell me you answered all right..I dont believe it!! haha..

thanx to Nazrah KFC for the info..

SUPER FRUITS

Kiwi : Tiny but mighty

This is a good source of potassium, magnesium, Vitamin E & fibre. It’s Vitamin C content is twice that of an orange.

Apple : An apple a day keeps the doctor away?

Although an apple has a low Vitamin C content, it has antioxidants & flavonoids which enhances the activity of Vitamin C thereby helping to lower the risks of colon cancer, heart attach & stroke.

Strawberry : Protective Fruit

Strawberries have the highest total antioxidant power among major fruits & protect the body from cancer causing, blood vessels clogging free radicals.

Orange : Sweetest medicine

Taking 2 –4 oranges a day may help keep colds away, lower cholesterol, prevent & dissolve kidney stones as well as lessen the risk of colon cancer.

Watermelon : Coolest Thirst Quencher

Composed of 92% water, it is also packed with a giant dose of glutathione which helps boost our immune system. They are also a key source of lycopene – the cancer fighting oxidant. Other nutrients found in watermelon are Vitamin C & Potassium.

Guava & Papaya : Top awards for Vitamin C

They are the clear winners for their high Vitamin C content. Guava is also rich in fibre which helps prevent constipation. Papaya is rich in carotene, this is good for your eyes.

VEGETABLES

BROCCOLI

How it combats cancer: Research has revealed that a chemical component called indole-3-carbinol can combat breast cancer by converting a cancer-promoting estrogen into a more protective riety. The phytochemical sulforaphane raises the levels of certain cancer-fighting enzymes that defend the body from cigarette smoke, fumes, pesticides & other known carcinogens.

Diet tips: Broccoli leaves actually contain more beta-carotene (i.e. pre-Vitamin A) than the florets - use leaves in purees, soups, stir-fries. To preserve broccoli’s valuable nutrients, steam or microwave, being careful not to overcook. Avoid garnishing broccoli with fatty cheeses and creams instead, squeeze on some lemon juice or sprinkle with toasted bread crumbs.

PAPAYA

How it combats cancer: Its plentiful store of vitamin C works as an antioxidant and may also reduce absorption of cancer-causing nitrosamines from the soil or processed foods. Papaya contains folacin (also known as folic acid), which has been shown to minimize cervical ysplasia and certain cancers.

Diet tips: Choose papayas that are at least half yellow in the store - fully green ones were probably picked too soon and won’t ripen properly. You can serve papaya in fruit salad, add it to a garlic-and-spinach pasta mixture, or just eat it on its own, letting the juice dribble down your arm.

GARLIC

How it combats cancer: Garlic’s immune-enhancing allium compounds block carcinogens from entering cells and slow tumor development. Diallyl sulfide, a component of garlic oil, has also been shown to render carcinogens in the liver inactive. Studies have linked garlic - as well as onions, leeks, and chives - to lower risk of stomach and colon cancer.

Diet tips: Add raw garlic to salads, use it fresh in marinades and sauces;

rub freshly cut garlic around the insides of salad bowls and over chicken

and fish fillets. Avoid dried or powdered garlic, which is less

concentrated - and less effective

KALE

How it combats cancer: Research has shown that indoles, nitrogen compounds found in kale and other leafy greens, may help stop the conversion of certain lesions to cancerous cells in estrogen-sensitive tissues. In addition, isothiocyanates, phytochemicals found in kale, are thought to suppress tumor growth and block cancer-causing substances from reaching their targets.

Diet tips: A cruciferous vegetable, kale requires quick cooking - blanching or steaming - to preserve its nutrients. When you’re done, save the nutrient-rich cooking liquid for soups or sauces. You can also use whole large leaves to wrap fillings or to layer in lasagna.

SWEET POTATO

How it combats cancer: This nutrient-dense food contains many anticancer properties. It’s loaded with beta-carotene, which may protect DNA in the cell nucleus from cancer-causing chemicals outside the nuclear membrane.

Diet tips: Go for freshness when picking potatoes - canned arieties contain less beta-carotene and vitamins C and B. Naturally sweet and creamy, mashed sweet potatoes can be enhanced with a little apple juice. Or whip the cooked tubers with orange zest or orange juice and season with cinnamon, nutmeg, and ginger.

GRAPEFRUIT

How it combats cancer: Grapefruits, like oranges and other citrus fruits, contain monoterpenes, believed to help prevent cancer by sweeping carcinogens out of the body. Some studies show that grapefruit can inhibit the proliferation of breast-cancer cells in vitro. It also contains vitamin C, beta-carotene, and folic acid.

Diet tips: Grapefruit can be sweetened with brown sugar or a drizzle of maple syrup or honey; vanilla extract, fresh mint, and almonds also accent the fruit’s flavor. Grapefruit juice will give you the antioxidants and phytochemicals that fight cancer, but it’s missing the fiber that fresh, whole grapefruit offers.

AVOCADO

How it combats cancer: Avocados are rich in glutathione, a powerful antioxidant that attacks free radicals in the body by blocking intestinal absorption of certain fats. Ounce for ounce, avocados also supply 60 percent more potassium than bananas and are a strong source of beta-carotene.

Diet tips: Store avocados at room temperature until they soften. If you don’t eat the fruit immediately after cutting, sprinkle on some lemon or lime juice to keep it from darkening. Add chunks or slices to salads and sandwiches or spread mashed avocado on bread.

SEAWEED

How they combat cancer: Seaweed and other sea vegetables contain beta-carotene, protein, vitamin B12, fiber, and chlorophyll, as well as chlorophylones - important fatty acids that may help in the fight against breast cancer. Also, many sea vegetables have high concentrations of the minerals potassium, calcium, magnesium, iron, and iodine.

Diet tips: Sea vegetables come fresh, dried, or powdered. Both the Japanese & the Irish regularly use them as flavorings for broths & soups,stir-fried over rice, or as a wrap for fish and other seafood. Varieties such as dulce, wakame, kombu, and hijiki even appear in pancakes, salads, puddings, and sandwiches.

TOFU

How it combats cancer: Soy contains several types of phytoestrogens -weak, nonsteroidal estrogens that could help prevent both breast and prostate cancer by blocking and suppressing cancerous changes. Genistein, one type of phytoestrogen, also lowers breast-cancer risk by inhibiting the growth of epithelial cells & new blood vessels that tumors require to flourish.

Diet tips: Tofu is made by coagulating the protein in soybeans - much the way cheese is produced. While bland on its own, tofu absorbs other flavors when cooked, making it perfect for stir-fries, dips, spreads, shakes, even cheesecake. It’s also a good high-protein substitute for meat, whole milk & mayonnaise.

STAY YOUNG
EVEN THOUGH YOU ARE OLD

Research has found that people who generally live longer do so partly because of good habits. Here, Dr Vernon Coleman and others provide some of the following good habits for longevity.

  1. Laugh & fun, don’t be gloomy
  2. Let bygones be bygones. Dwelling on the past inflicts unnecessary stress.
  3. Early to bed, early to rise, is healthy & wise
  4. Stay lean, being just 30% overweight is bad.
  5. Keep learning, reading & socializing – an alert & active mind keeps brain cells healthy.
  6. Keep working, doing something you like. Don’t retire, it slows down your body.
  7. Be the boss of your own life. Letting others push you around produces stress.
  8. Too many pills ruin your body, take just what you need.
  9. Constantly alternating between weight gain & loss is bad
  10. Exercise, quit smoking and eat less fatty foods
  11. Do not worry about health & death, just get on with your life and enjoy it.

Ok, that's it for now..last words, love your health..

n love COPY N' PASTE..hehehe..

=========================================

I got this useful tips bout food as medicines, and yeah, you may follow these tips first before throwing away spending your hard earned money paying for expensive medicines..but forget bout the tips if you have life insurance..

Thanx to Kak Shida for the tips..

HEADACHE? EAT FISH
Eat plenty of fish -- fish oil helps prevent headaches.
So does ginger, which reduces inflammation and pain.

HAY FEVER? EAT YOGURT!
Eat lots of yogurt before pollen season.
Also-eat honey from your area (local region) daily.

STROKE? DRINK TEA
Prevent buildup of fatty deposits on artery walls with regular doses of tea. (actually, tea suppresses my appetite and keeps the pounds from invading....Green tea is great for our immune system).

INSOMNIA (CAN'T SLEEP)? USE HONEY
Use honey as a tranquilizer and sedative.

ASTHMA? EAT ONIONS
Eating onions helps ease constriction of bronchial tubes. (when I was young, my mother would make onion packs to place on our chest, helped the respiratory ailments and actually made us breathe better).

ARTHRITIS? EAT FISH, TOO
Salmon, tuna, mackerel and sardines actually prevent arthritis. (fish has omega oils, good for our immune system).

UPSET STOMACH? BANANAS & GINGER
Bananas will settle an upset stomach.
Ginger will cure morning sickness and nausea.

BLADDER INFECTION? DRINK CRANBERRY JUICE
High-acid cranberry juice controls harmful bacteria.

BONE PROBLEMS? EAT PINEAPPLE
Bone fractures and osteoporosis can be prevented by the manganese in pineapple.

PREMENSTRUAL SYNDROME? EAT CORNFLAKES
Women can ward off the effects of PMS with cornflakes, which help reduce depression, anxiety and fatigue.

MEMORY PROBLEMS? EAT OYSTERS
Oysters help improve your mental functioning by supplying much-needed zinc.

COLDS? EAT GARLIC
Clear up that stuffy head with garlic. (remember, garlic lowers cholesterol, too.)

COUGHING? USE RED PEPPERS
A substance similar to that found in the cough syrups is found in hot red pepper. Use red (cayenne) pepper with caution-it can irritate your tummy.

BREAST CANCER? EAT WHEAT, BRAN AND CABBAGE
Helps to maintain estrogen at healthy levels.

LUNG CANCER? EAT DARK GREEN AND ORANGE AND VEGGIES
A good antidote is beta carotene, a form of Vitamin A found in dark green and orange vegetables.

ULCERS? EAT CABBAGE
Cabbage contains chemicals that help heal both gastric and duodenal ulcers.

DIARRHEA? EAT APPLES
Grate an apple with its skin, let it turn brown and eat it to cure this condition. (Bananas are good for this ailment)

CLOGGED ARTERIES? EAT AVOCADO
Mono unsaturated fat in avocados lowers cholesterol.

HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE? EAT CELERY AND OLIVE OIL
Olive oil has been shown to lower blood pressure.
Celery contains a chemical that lowers pressure too.

BLOOD SUGAR IMBALANCE? EAT BROCCOLI AND PEANUTS
The chromium in broccoli and peanuts helps regulate insulin and blood sugar.

   Me as a PC Gamer
Ive been "involved" in PC game world for almost 8 years now and I do track all the changes, the improvements, the latest features, technologies in today's gaming..and most of the today's state-of-the-art games do require features like hi-tech display cards, fast processors, 3d accelerators, and others..

picture 1

As for me, those are always the things I consider to get the best satisfying experience..its a passion for me, really..Im willing to spend my hard-earn money to upgrade my PC..picture 1 illustrates the extra harddisk I bought meant merely for games..

I do play games like GTA San Andreas, Need For Speed Most Wanted, and FIFA06..and many more..I didnt mention the rest, these are only the biggies that I am with..

And today, after almost a year I work 5 days a week, I can hardly play these games all the time..(I spent at least 3 hours a day playing games before being a programmer)..as an alternative, I decide to spend the whole weekend to play all the games I love..
..
..
..
..
..

but I dont know..this is just simply not happening on weekends..

   The Programming Thing..Please Help..
Ok..today is Friday..I did mention in the previous post that this day is the best day for me..but h3ck, today I am having a lil not-so-lil problem..It's the programming thing!! and I dont want this to ruin my mood, as for me, if Friday is messed up, the whole weekend would be affected too! So I need your help guys..

I bet you guys might be thinking that a life as a programmer is good sucks..I do agree for some reason..In fact most of my friends do feel sorry for me because I am a programmer (h3ll, this is true, really!)..They believe I have to work hard to get any assignments done..

Owh ok..where were we? yer, programming problem..If you guys have any experience in C++ please take a look at the part of the project codes below which I havent found the errors in it..

If you guys are advanced C++ programmers, please focus on the bordered lines, that's where errors occur. Else, you have to understand line by line..

The codes (sorry, quite long):

Detailed Analysis On How Brazil Lost..;p
Yeah..we know that Brazil lost in the WC06 quarter final with a 0-1 defeat, scored by Henry..and some source did blame Roberto Carlos, saying he was pulling up his socks when the freekick was about to begin..Yesterday I received an email from Liza about the detailed analysis on waddah3ck was Roberto Carlos doing..Check the h3ck out!

Waddah3ck was he(R.Carlos) doing? What was he thinking? That's not a world-class player..Pity, pity..Now, I got my personal review too..Check the followings:

Picture 5 (I edited)

Picture 6 (I edited)

They supposely watched France players, but heck, they were having the meeting discussing about what will they do when winning the WC..THEY WERE DREAMING, just like R.Carlos! oops, nope..sorry..R.Carlos was pulling up his socks..;p

   Zizou Headbutted For Some Reason
"Zinedine Zidane's career ended in high drama in the World Cup final on Sunday, the French legend scoring a penalty and then losing his temper and getting a red card for assaulting Italy defender Marco Materazzi." read more..

It was a kinda sad ending for Zidane when he was red carded after headbutting Materazzi..but after reading newspaper this morning, I believe he(Zizou) did that for some reason..

What? You dont know waddah3ck happened? Larr..nevermind, I got this video from a friend showing Zidane headbutting Materazzi..

If you watch carefully, there is a conversation between them before the incident happens..referred from The Star, Italy defender Marco Materazzi must have said something to provoke France's Zinedine Zidane into headbutting him in the final. What did he say? Not yet revealed, but some source said that Materazzi provoked Zidane by saying that he is a terrorist..That's not good (if it's true lar)..

Well I believe that this concludes to the fact that to play football, you must be good not merely physically, but also emotionally..=)

   Nice Satria Neo
I personally haven't seen the recent Satria Neo (which was lauched by Proton) on the road, but after watching the commercial, it looks quite cool with even more stylish designs if compared to the original Satria..What an improvement..=)

The Launching of The All New 3-Door Satria Neo

HOW-THE-H3CK-EVER, I did receive an email recently from Nea with 3 pics of Satria Neo attached..What I'm gonna show you might probably change WHAT-THE-H3CK-EVER you guys have ever tought about Neo before(nice, cool, chun, macho, bla bla bla)..I know, this is not a good thing to hear..but h3ck, that's simply the truth..

This red Neo was drived by skilled Proton testdrivers (according to the email) when it hit the sidewalk..

What did you say? Still looks nice..yeah I agree..but you may want to scroll down a lil bit to see the other side of the car..

   WC06 Fever is Over..
Italy are world champions for the fourth time after beating ten-man France 5-3 on penalties after a 1-1 draw in Berlin's Olympiastadion. erm, Nice!

Italy's great moments after winning the WC..

I watched the game and with the great effort performed by Italy from the very start of the game, I think they deserve the cup of world..

But I do think things would be different if Zidane and Henry were taking the penalty kick..instead of Trezeguet who missed the goal after the ball crashed against crossbar which was consequently leading to the loss..Poor France..hehe..

Trezeguet after missing the goal..

Well, the WC06 is over now but h3ck, I'm still sleepy (at office now)..If this happens again tomorrow, maybe I'll get an MC, I mean a free MC (haha) suggested by a friend of mine..Hey, maybe you guys want it too..just print out the form below, write your name on it..and that's it, free one day off..hehe..

How To Make A Cool 1-Minute-Done Hat
Suppose you wanted a hat that would make you look cool, and you want it cheap and fast..But you had no idea how to get/find/design it..

Do worry no more..hihi..Let me show you the easiest, cheapest, fastest way to make a 1-minute-done hat..

Materials You Need: a pamelo, a knife. that's it..super-easy..hihi..

1. First off, buy a pomelo (limau barli)..get it from near market..make sure the size of the pamelo is at least the same as your head..

picture 1

2. Peel it off carefully (picture 2a), and decorate the shape of the hat you would like it to be like the sample in picture 2b..Make sure you put the rest in a place (picture 2c), so that you dont mess your own kitchen/house ~this is important..

Yup..it's done..not even a minute if you can peel faster..the result..

Germany's Bastian Schweinsteiger, left, turns away after scoring the opening goal during the World Cup 3rd place soccer match between Germany and Portugal.

Germany's coach Juergen Klinsmann jubilates jubilates after Bastian Schweinsteiger, not seen, scored his side's second goal during the World Cup 3rd place.

Why Friday is the best day for me..;p
I know that Friday is the core of all days in Islam, and of course the best day, when many of the important occurances happened in Fridays, like:

1. The completion of the making of the Earth.
2. The birth day of Adam.
2. The meeting between Adam and Hawa.
3. The marriage between Yusof and Zulaikha.
4. The End of the Day (will).

and many more..That's why me kinda appreciate the Friday, but for almost a year, for some other reason than those stated, as A WORKAHOLIC, I do realize now why Friday is the best day of all days in a week..

It's because TOMORROW IS SATURDAY..YES!! hehehe..
